PET FIRST AID COURSE DETAILS AND REGISTRATION
Life Tracks Training has been offering this industry recognized National Pet First Aid program for animal lovers, pet parents, dog and cat professionals since 2019.
This course is designed to teach effective pet first aid for emergencies, early detection, common medical conditions and preventative care for dogs and cats. While this course is very comprehensive it does not replace regular Veterinary visits or emergency care.
Professionals, eligible to receive both 5 CEU PSI (Pet Sitters International) and 8.5 CEU IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants), with the completion of this course. Professionals choose our program for its reputation. They recognize that a certification from an accredited organization lets their clients know that they are credible professionals who can reliably care for their dogs and cats.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
Preventative Medicine Emergency Action Plan Vital signs Rescue breathing Airway Obstruction Shock Wound Care Eye/Ear Injuries Bone/Joint Injuries Foreign Objects and much more!
Work with live dogs (when available) or cat and dog stuffies (toys) while practicing bandaging techniques, and CasPeR manikins for CPR/AR skills.
Practice real life scenarios, play interactive games and review instructional videos.
COURSE FEE – $160 (tax included)
The course curriculum is approximately 8.5 hours. 10 hours in total, breaks included. Certifications are valid for three years.
PACKAGE INCLUDED WITH COURSE FEE:
An extensive, user-friendly 76 page manual complete with illustrations.
Your certificate of completion for yourself and your dog (if applicable).
A compact pet first aid guide.
Re-usable window decal to display to others that you have completed pet first aid training.
